Annual Fundraiser: Together We Bring Sculpture to Life
Many thanks to those of you who purchased tickets to our annual fundraiser, which was held at the Evergreen Lake House on September 28. It was, as always, a fun and memorable event. A few things made it extra special this year. Board member Barb Chiarella shared a wonderful remembrance of Tom Ware, an extraordinary sculptor, teacher, and volunteer who recently passed away at age 94. Tom was one of the original sparks behind the founding of Sculpture Evergreen, and his legacy lives on in our permanent sculpture collection.
The event was also special because we announced the upcoming merger of Sculpture Evergreen and Center for the Arts Evergreen. This exciting combination of two thriving art organizations will bring even more exciting art and art programs to our community, in addition to continuing Sculpture Evergreen’s long-time traditions of permanent and temporary display of sculpture for all to enjoy.
If you missed the event and would still like to show your support of Sculpture Evergreen, please go to our “Support” page to donate.
