Sculpture Evergreen added five new permanent sculptures to its collection this year thanks to generous donors. One–Bugling Elk–was from last year’s Sculpture Walk. It was purchased for our community by an anonymous donor and it now perched along Highway 74 below the Stone House, headquarters of the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce. The others are Modern Man by Ken Stock, a donation from Karen Lindsay, a former Sculpture Evergreen Board member and president; Russ Colburn and Dog by Tom Ware, which replaced Bountiful River along our new sculpture trail in Bergen Park and was donated by Forest Heights Lodge; and two sculptures, Torii Stone by Pete Stecher and Equal to the Pain by Robert Brubaker, which were donated by the estate of Micael McGoldrick and are now temporarily located at the Center for the Arts Evergreen. This brings our total collection to more than 40 permanent pieces. Thank you donors!
